[Review] Red Fox Canvas Storage Bin by Grey Bee

We needed a (cute) storage solution for my little girl. I wanted it for her growing LEGO collection. She doesn’t have as many as her brother, so I thought a bin would be great. I wanted something that was sturdy and somewhat large, as what we quickly outgrew what we were using before and the plastic was very weak.

The Canvas Storage Bin for Nursery or Kids Room by Grey Bee is a great addition to her room. We got it with the Red Fox appliqué on the front and she absolutely loved it. It’s incredibly adorable. There are similar bins around with the same type of cartoon animal design on the front, but I am not even exaggerating when I say that these are cuter.

The bin measures 16 inches tall; that’s a whole lot of storage. The fact that it comes with handles is icing on the cake. My little girl is six and she likes to tote around her LEGO to her brother’s room (it’s right next door to her, but it’s just a hassle having to bring two plastic shoe boxes full of them which always has some spillage along the way.)

Yes, when her collection grows the bin will be heavier, but that’s the beauty of the canvas material. The bottom is much sturdier still than the body, meaning that if she were to drag it along behind her (we have laminated floors, so no tearing!) The bin itself is lined, which adds to the strength. All the seams are well-sewn with no exposed threads and the fox is very well-stitched to the front.

The little master builder loves animals as well, so it was a great big hit with her. One thing to note though: it comes shipped flat, of course. Can you imagine if it weren’t? The box would be HUGE. So you need to open it up and fill it to get it back into its regular shape. You can use towels or clothes to do this.

Until next time guys,

Vivi
